Most visits are covered
Insurance coverage
We currently work with multiple insurance providers and lactation billing partners to help families receive insurance-covered lactation consultations whenever possible. Coverage varies by individual plan, but many families receive little to no out-of-pocket cost for visits.
We’ll help guide you through the process and make it as simple as possible.
Aenta
We are able to work with many Aetna plans for lactation care coverage. Most approved plans receive fully covered visits, including in-home consultations.

Cigna/Anthem
Certain Cigna plans may qualify for fully covered lactation visits through Wildflower Health. Coverage eligibility depends on your individual plan benefits.

Grateful Lactation Services has partnered with The Lactation Network (TLN) to offer lactation services covered by insurance. We currently accept the following in-network plans for Colorado through TLN:
✓ First Choice Health
✓ Meritain
✓ MultiPlan
✓ PNOA
✓ Sutter Health
✓ Velocity PPO
✓ Curative Health
✓ Imagine Health

Not sure if you’re covered? Check your benefits through TLN to confirm eligibility.
Don’t see your insurance listed?
Please still reach out.
Many families qualify for partial reimbursement or out-of-network benefits even if their insurance provider is not listed above.
If your plan is not approved through one of our billing partners, we can:
Provide a coded Superbill for reimbursement submission
Help explain potential out-of-network options
Discuss self-pay visit options
Answer questions before scheduling
We never want insurance confusion to stop families from receiving support.
