Frequently Asked Questions

  • Many insurance plans provide coverage for lactation services. Coverage varies depending on your provider and individual plan. We can help guide families through the process of understanding benefits and reimbursement options.

  • An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a healthcare professional specially trained in infant feeding and lactation care. IBCLCs provide evidence-based support for breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, milk supply concerns, latch difficulties, weaning, and more. Their goal is to help families feel informed, supported, and confident in their feeding journey.

  • Support can be helpful at any stage — during pregnancy, immediately after birth, or months into your feeding journey. Many families reach out for help with:

    • Painful nursing

    • Milk supply concerns

    • Pumping questions

    • Bottle refusal

    • Review your feeding history and goals

    • Observe a feeding session

    • Assess latch and positioning

    • Evaluate pumping routines and flange fit

    • Discuss milk supply and infant feeding patterns

    • Create a practical care plan with next steps
