FAQs
Do you come to my home?
1
Yes. Grateful Lactation Services provides in-home lactation consultations throughout the Denver metro area. We travel to Denver, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Westminster, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Parker, Aurora, Boulder, and many surrounding communities. We also offer secure virtual lactation consultations for families anywhere in Colorado.
During your home visit we will assess feeding, answer your questions, and create a personalized care plan—all in the comfort of your home.
Do you take insurarnce?
2
Yes. Many of our lactation consultations are covered by insurance. We work with several insurance providers and can help you determine your coverage before your appointment. If your insurance is not accepted, we also offer self-pay appointments and can provide a superbill that you may submit for possible reimbursement.
If you're unsure whether your plan covers breastfeeding support, simply text or call us—we're happy to check your benefits before scheduling.
How soon can I get an appointment?
3
Most families can be seen within 24–48 hours, and same-day appointments may be available depending on our schedule.
We understand that breastfeeding concerns often need immediate attention. Whether you're experiencing painful nursing, low milk supply, a poor latch, tongue tie concerns, pumping questions, slow weight gain, or simply need reassurance, we'll do our best to get you and your baby the support you need as quickly as possible.
How much does a visit cost?
4
The cost of your appointment depends on your insurance coverage. Many families pay little or nothing out of pocket because their lactation consultation is covered by insurance.
If you do not have insurance coverage, we offer transparent self-pay pricing and will review all costs before your appointment. Our goal is to make expert breastfeeding support accessible so you can focus on caring for your baby—not worrying about unexpected fees.
For an exact estimate, contact us and we'll verify your benefits before your visit.
